Narrative Project Preface
Welcome to my narrative project whenever I have written narratives for school in the past I have felt that each life experience I have written about has given a more in depth look in to me and my life through the events that have taken place in my short 19 years like for example one was about my trip to Washington DC with my family and what I saw and what I found interesting while down there, another was about my first trip up the mountains and same thing with the trip to Washington DC I wrote about what I saw and did while I was there and I think it gave a more interesting and in depth look into my life.
I think my emotional identity is I show it pretty easily and while i have tried to hide it and handle it well like for example when I'm sad or angry i show it more than I hide it but i try to be chill and calm but more often than not my emotions will show. I feel like I can control them sometimes but other times I just let it happen when I'm sad or angry.
To begin my process of writing the memoir, I first composed A Letter to my Author -Self... When I completed this blog assignment it helped me get in touch with my inner author. This also helped me think of myself as a real author who has control over what I want to write. I chose to write a memoir about one of my most favorite moments from my life to this point that I experienced with my dad it was an outdoor hockey game that had me going from cold, and miserable to joyous and warm with happiness and I was so glad I got to experience it with my dad.
