- Who am I? Name, age, birthplace, languages, educational background, gender identification (if you wish), dual enrollment, hobbies, job, pets, relationship status, etc. I am Patrick Sullivan I'm 19, My birthplace is Drexel Hill I only speak one language which is English I have Graduated from Upper Darby High school in June of 2019, I am a male, I am not dual enrollment, My hobbies include watching sports and just hanging out with friends and family, I do have a job i do data entry for the Upper Darby Police department, I have a dog her name is Rosie she is 2 years old.
- Who are my favorite writers and/or composers? My favorite writers or composers include Post Malone, Green day, The Beatles, The Who, Mac Miller and for book authors i like Robert Lewis Stephenson cause I read Treasure Island in 5th grade and liked it a lot and I also enjoyed when I had to read Slaughter House Five By Kurt Vonnegut in senior year.
- What types of writing do I enact most often? Consider different genres (poetry, letters) and media (texts, Instagram). Probably twitter and texting because I can just do that when ever and I don't really write for fun.
- When do I write? Consider physical and emotional places. I usually write when I'm relaxed and comfortable cause it is just relaxing and nice to write (Text, Tweet) when you are comfortable and chill.
- Where do I write? Consider physical and emotional places -- and -- writer tools such as laptop, journal, paper. I usually write when ever I'm on my phone cause that is where most of my writing is done such as Tweeting and Texting.
- Why do I write? For inspiration, read this piece: Why I Write (Joan Didion) I write to give the reader a look into my life and what I do but we in this class write to make meaning and give reasons for what we write about and that can help the reader understand what we are writing about and helping them with what we are giving incite to in our piece.
- How have my past experiences shaped my author identity and how can I reshape my author identity in this course? My past experiences have shaped my writer identity by teaching me that its okay to go through the every day writing struggles such as writers block or not being confident in my writing and just push though it and continue to write and get better.
